SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS NEEDED


The Martins Ferry City School District is searching for substitute teachers. If you have a bachelor's degree, you can obtain a substituting certificate from the Ohio Department of Education. The rate of pay is $100.00 per day. If you have a current teaching license for the State of Ohio, the rate of pay is $130.00 per day. We have long-term substitute positions available. Employment applications can be found on our school website under Administration > Employment Opportunities, or you may pick one up at the administration office located at 5001 Ayers Limestone Road, Martins Ferry, OH. COVID-19 Information

The district has updated its COVID guidelines in accordance with the CDC. COVID positive students and staff no longer need to quarantine for 5 days. Instead, they may resume activities once symptoms are improving overall for at least 24 hours AND fever free for 24 hours without use of fever-reducing medication. It is recommended to mask for 5 days after resuming activities.
